Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about Brain Integration Technique
Crossinology Brain Integration Technique (BIT) draws from applied kinesiology, basic physiology concepts, and meridian-based acupressure points to work through a structured protocol that looks at multiple brain-related systems (such as speech/language processing, emotional regulation pathways, communication between hemispheres, and sensory processing like auditory, visual, and vestibular inputs).
BIT is non-invasive and drug-free. Many people find sessions comfortable and calming. If you have medical concerns or a complex history, we’re happy to discuss your situation before you schedule.
Many clients work through the main protocol over multiple visits. Total time often lands around 15-18 hours, but the pace and number of sessions depends on goals, age, and how your body responds.
People often seek BIT support for attention and focus challenges, learning/processing difficulties, emotional regulation, stress recovery, post-concussion concerns, executive functioning, balance/coordination, brain fog, and allergy-related stress responses.
Once the brain has integrated, the changes tend to be permanent. Integration is generally maintained over time unless the nervous system experiences a significant new stress or trauma.
We use muscle monitoring and meridian-based corrections to address the body’s stress response related to specific substances. Follow-up sessions are sometimes recommended to re-check and support progress.
No referral is required. You’re welcome to schedule a free consultation so we can discuss goals, answer questions, and help you decide on next steps.
Many brain integration issues stem from early-life stress or trauma. During a physically or emotionally overwhelming experience, the body automatically activates its “fight or flight” response. This process diverts energy away from normal brain communication, temporarily shutting down the corpus callosum — the bridge between the brain’s two hemispheres.
In some cases, once the stress passes, the corpus callosum doesn’t fully “switch back on,” leaving parts of the brain disconnected and less able to communicate efficiently.
Not at all!
People with ADD or ADHD often appear more creative because they have stronger access to the right (creative) hemisphere of the brain. After integration, they gain better access to the left (logical) hemisphere as well — which enhances focus and productivity without reducing creativity. In fact, many clients find they can channel their creativity more effectively once their brain communication is balanced.
After integration, most clients notice:
- Clearer thinking and improved focus
- Less anxiety, stress, or mental fatigue
- Better sleep and more energy
- Improved academic or work performance
- More emotional stability and confidence
- Easier problem-solving and task completion
- Enhanced physical coordination and well-being
- Some clients even report benefits like improved digestion, reduced tension, and a greater sense of balance.
BIT is safe and effective for both children, teens and adults. If your child is 8 years old or younger, a parent or guardian must remain in the room during sessions.
Sessions are adapted to age and attention span, and we work collaboratively with parents/guardians to support learning and behavior goals.
